This Valentine’s Day, we’re doing things differently.

Instead of traditional speed dating or open ticket sales, the Maryland Singles Social Club is hosting a curated matchmaking dinner designed for singles who value alignment, intention, and thoughtful connection.

This is not a mingle.

This is not random.

And participation is determined by application first.

What This Event Is

A guided, four-course Valentine’s dinner where every pairing is curated before the event. This event is considered an ELEVATED event in our portfolio given the food and drink component, as well as the space rental costs. Your fee to participate if chosen will be $85. Each participant will enjoy:

  • A seated, restaurant-style dinner experience

  • Four structured courses

  • Four intentional, pre-matched introductions

Every person you meet during the evening has been selected and paired based on meaningful compatibility — not chance.

How the Matching Works

All participants are matched in advance using five compatibility markers that consistently shape real-world dating success:

  • Age

  • Relationship goals

  • Political values

  • Religious perspective

  • Social energy & lifestyle

This allows us to create pairings where conversations feel easier, expectations are aligned, and chemistry has room to gro.

How the Evening Flows

The event is structured as a rotating, four-course dinner experience:

  • Appetizer course — First curated match

  • Salad course — Second curated match

  • Main course — Third curated match

  • Dessert course — Fourth curated match

Like traditional speed dating, MEN rotate to a new table for each course within their age group, meeting a new pre-selected match each round.

The pacing is intentional, relaxed, and designed to allow for genuine conversation — not rushed impressions.

How to Apply (OPEN TO ALL AGES)

THE FEE WILL BE $85 PER PERSON TO COVER FOOD, DRINK, AND VENUE RENTAL COSTS. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PAY THAT AMOUNT - DO NOT APPLY.

Event will be held at The Turn House on Hobbits Glen Golf Course in Columbia MD. Dates will be February 6th and/or 13th. Time roughly 7-9pm.

This event is open to applicants of all ages. Age groupings and pairings will be determined after applications are reviewed, allowing us to curate the experience based on the overall applicant pool and alignment.

Submitting an application allows us to build balanced age groups and thoughtful matches for the evening.

To be considered, singles must:

  1. Complete the event application (TO THE RIGHT)

  2. Answer a short set of questions related to the five compatibility markers

  3. Be selected to participate based on overall alignment and event balance

Selected participants will receive a confirmation email with next steps and event details.

You will be given a short window to formally register for your spot, otherwise your spot will be given to someone else.
